By using the Fork’d Up platform (app or website), you agree to the following terms:
Fork’d Up is a digital platform that connects food and hospitality businesses with individual workers for short-term or on-demand gigs. Fork’d Up is not an employer, staffing agency, or labor contractor.
Users must be 18 years of age or older. By creating an account, you confirm that you are at least 18. Users under 18 are not permitted to register or use this platform.
Users may upload a profile image and resume for visibility to potential work partners. All uploaded content must be appropriate, relevant to professional experience, and free of inappropriate language, nudity, or misleading information. Fork’d Up reserves the right to remove any content that violates these standards.
Fork’d Up may request access to your device’s camera and/or photo library solely for the purpose of uploading a profile photo or resume.
This access is optional and only initiated with your consent.
Permission may be revoked at any time through your device settings.
Fork’d Up does not collect or store biometric data, metadata, or facial recognition information.
All users agree to use the chat and messaging features respectfully and professionally. Any use of the platform to harass, threaten, abuse, impersonate, or send obscene, discriminatory, or sexually explicit content is strictly prohibited.
Fork’d Up reserves the right to immediately suspend or terminate any account that violates this policy.
Fork’d Up does not guarantee employment, communication, job performance, timeliness, availability, payment, or safety of any user. All arrangements are made directly between users.
Fork’d Up is not responsible for:
Missed shifts or no-shows
Cancellations or late arrivals
Injuries or accidents on the job
Payment disputes or wage-related issues
Misconduct, theft, harassment, or workplace incidents
Licensing, certifications, or work permits
Users are solely responsible for their own conduct, communication, qualifications, and for complying with all applicable local, state, or federal labor laws.
Fork’d Up reserves the right to suspend or terminate any account for misuse, false representation, platform manipulation, or violation of any of these terms.
Fork’d Up operates on a flat monthly subscription model:
Workers: $4.99/month
Businesses: $29.99/month
Payments are processed securely via Stripe. Fork’d Up does not store any credit card or banking information.
No refunds are offered once payment is successfully processed.
Subscriptions renew automatically every month unless canceled before the next billing cycle.
Your subscription includes access to:
Profile visibility
Messaging tools
Gig-matching by ZIP code and job type
Real-time contact tools (within the platform)
Fork’d Up collects only the essential personal data necessary to operate the platform, including:
Full name
Email address
ZIP code
Resume (optional)
Work type or skill preferences
Profile photo (optional)
This information is used strictly to:
Match users by job role and location
Display public user profiles
Facilitate contact between users
Maintain your account and subscription
Fork’d Up does not:
Sell or share your data with third parties
Collect biometric, health, government ID, or GPS location data
Track user activity outside of the app
Payment data is handled exclusively by Stripe, and Fork’d Up never stores your financial information.
Users may delete their account at any time through the app. All personal data will be permanently removed from our systems upon deletion.
If enabled, Fork’d Up may send push notifications for new messages, match activity, or account updates. You may control or disable notifications through your device settings.
